Uganda Nile Basin Discourse Forum Position statement with a theme "Mainstreaming Local Community and Stakeholders’ Participation and Benefits in the NELSAP Sub Regional Hydro-Power and Interconnection Projects held in Oct 2011.

This position statement was made on July 11 by the NBD Board. It mainly brings out the message that NBD is committed to mobilising civil society to contribute to the process of cooperation while working toward ensuring that all countries in the Nile Basin region reach a mutually beneficial consensus.
